Dear fellow citizens, esteemed Albanian friends,

I am honored and pleased to have assumed my duties as the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the Republic of Albania as of April 15, 2026.

Türkiye and Albania are two brotherly countries bound not only by geographical proximity, but also by shared values and strong human ties. Strengthening our centuries-old historical, cultural, and humanitarian bonds with Albania, one of our oldest friends in the Balkans and our NATO Ally, will be one of my priorities throughout my tenure.

The mutual solidarity we displayed following the earthquakes in Albania on November 26, 2019, and in Türkiye on February 6, 2023, has once again demonstrated the depth of our fraternal ties. The Namazgah Mosque in the heart of Tirana as well as the Türkiye-Albania Fier Memorial Hospital stand out as concrete symbols of the cooperation between our countries. Likewise, our institutions such as TİKA, the Yunus Emre Institute, and the Türkiye Maarif Foundation will continue to serve as strong pillars of our collaboration in the fields of development, culture and education.

Further deepening our relations at the level of Strategic Partnership in all areas, including bilateral relations, economy, defense, education, culture, and people-to-people ties, will make significant contributions both to the prosperity of our countries and to regional peace and stability. In this regard, together with all my colleagues, we will work with determination to maintain the momentum of our excellent bilateral relations, strengthen the presence of Turkish investors in Albania, realize the full potential of our trade volume and preserve our shared historical heritage.

For our esteemed citizens living and working in Albania, and building bridges of friendship between our two countries, the doors of our Embassy and Consular Section will always remain fully open. Safeguarding your rights and interests, delivering consular services in a swift and effective manner and ensuring that you feel at home here are among our top priorities. We will continue to serve you around the clock so that you may always feel the support of our state by your side in all your needs and concerns.
